In autumn 2024 a new sports school in the US needed a website with coaches, a timetable and sign-up. We delivered it in January 2025, almost six months before the opening, and have supported it since the summer.
A website for a sports school in the US
A sports school in the US. The work came through a digital agency we run projects for. Names are not disclosed under the contract.

Support is billed for the time actually spent.
The school approached an agency that builds websites for another industry. The agency kept sales, money and delivery, and handed requirements, the team, the plan and production to us.
The client already had Figma mockups, but there was no agreement yet on what the website should do. Before building started, we wrote it down as specs and agreed them with the client: which pages the website has, where the links to external services go, what the client changes on their own.
The school was only opening and didn’t want to spend more on the website than necessary. It also wanted to change copy, prices and the timetable itself, without a developer. So we chose Tilda: a website without integrations that is edited in a visual editor. Custom pages were built in Zero Block from the mockups. Where a separate design wasn’t needed, for example in the news, we used standard blocks in the brand colors.
The timetable was also built right on the website. Schools usually embed a booking service widget, but here classes run in groups by discipline at fixed hours and rarely change. Students signed up through ready-made links to Mindbody, where the school managed students and memberships. Later the school moved to another booking service, and only the button links on the timetable page changed.
In January 2025, when the website was accepted, the school had not opened yet. For six months the website sat on a technical domain closed to visitors. In June 2025 we reconfigured the domain and opened the website, and in the summer the school opened too.
After the launch the website stayed with us for support, billed by the hour. Requests from the school come through the agency: update prices, refresh the copy about summer camps, add coaches, rework the mobile timetable. Once a month we send a report where each task is a separate line and the hours are split into content, development and management.
From June to September 2025 the total came to 30 hours 45 minutes: 12.5 hours of content, 12 of development and 6.25 of management. There were no requests in August, and the August report came out at zero. In September 2026 the school came back with new tasks.
A volume of hours is planned for each month. In July 2025 the plan was 12 hours, and the work came to 13 and a quarter. Most of it, five and a half hours, went to the mobile timetable. The hours over plan are shown as a separate line in the July report.
