We bring order
On requestfor 20 hoursWe look at how projects are actually run in the company: we talk to people and check plans and reports. You get a report on where things break and a roadmap you can take to any contractor.
Discuss an audit10–15 pages without interviewees’ names: the key points on one page, levels by area, problem areas with examples.
Five to seven people, an hour each, one at a time and without their manager present: from the owner to a specialist.
Plans, reports, minutes and the tracker, from live samples of current projects.
From the portfolio and initiation to closing. A level from 0 to 4, based on traces in documents rather than words.
What happens, an example, and what it leads to: timeline, money, people.
What should become true. For example: overspend is known before it happens.
What to do in-house right away, what needs design and rollout, and a rough timeline.
An hour with you: we go through the findings and answer questions.
While the audit runs: what is done and what we need from you.
Up to an hour, free of charge. You tell us what worries you, and we decide whether an audit is needed.
Contract, list of projects, sample documents and tracker access. We agree who we talk to.
Five to seven one-hour conversations, without a manager present and without recording.
A report with a roadmap and a meeting about it. You decide what to do next.
The price is fixed: the scope is known in advance. If 20 hours are not enough, we’ll tell you before they run out, not after.
Five to seven people: you first, two or three project managers, one or two specialists and whoever tracks project money. We agree the list at the start, and you schedule the interviews.
No. Findings and examples in the report have no names and can’t be traced to an interviewee. We don’t record conversations, and the notes stay with us.
No. We look at how the work is organized, not at people. If project managers work in different ways, that is a process problem, not anyone’s mistake.
No. We compare with what your company needs, based on your complaints and the problems we find. We rate each area on a scale from 0, “none”, to 4, “measured”, and only by traces in documents.
The report is complete on its own: the roadmap works with any contractor or in-house. A proposal for the next step comes in a separate email, not as part of the report.
An hour at the start, an hour per interview and an hour for the report meeting. Plus time to gather materials: the list of projects, sample plans and reports, tracker access.
No, that is the crisis project audit: 10 hours and a decision on whether we take the project on. Details are on the Project rescue page.
Next step
If you decide to change things, the next step is to set up project management to the requirements in the report and roll it out on one project first, then on the rest. The price and timeline of each stage come after the audit.
